Lerwick - Hull Race 2006
Lerwick Shetland 25th June 2006
5:40 am., sun well up, moderate
north-easterly wind, fine fresh morning in Lerwick. Ray
Butler and Big John get the birds away in what must be
one of the best libs you will see from Lerwick. A good
clean release with no stragglers.
Good to see Ray Butler looking well
after a spell of poor health.
Best of luck to all those taking
part, I hope the tail wind at the Lerwick end will give
good velocities.
